The Hilary Bonn Benevolence Fund,

established in 2002, was started with money donated in Hilary's name when her life was interrupted at the age of 18 by a leukemia diagnosis. Initial funding came from a community Spaghetti & Pie Feed and a Walkathon.

Hilary felt very strongly that the money should be used for people in our area, the eastern part of Baker County, Oregon, who needed help with expenses related to receiving medical care. From this simple beginning, and with continuing contributions, the fund has provided financial assistance to over 50 families and organizations in our region to date.
